Divorce Support

Healing from Divorce - Jim Smoke, a longtime facilitator of divorce recovery workshops, writes that divorce is “one of the most painful and emotionally draining experiences that a human being can have. It results in the death of a marriage, but does not have the finality of physical death. The vestiges of a former way of life remain to remind and overshadow a present existence. It is a hurt that goes deep and is accompanied by the doubt that it will ever heal.”

Divorce Support for Adults and Teens
Divorce Support is a WMPC gathering where participants share with, learn from and care for one another in hope of healing. This is a free, support group for adults and any teen, grades 6-12, who are experiencing a separation or divorce. Group is open to both members and non-members. We will meet weekly for six weeks beginning November 7 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Registration is required so that divorced or divorcing couples are not enrolled together.

Lisa Hebacker will facilitate the adult session and Laura Boyd will lead the teen sessions.
