Saturday, April 18 | 9:00 a.m.-noon | Main Hall
God’s Promise of Presence in Anxious Times is a gentle, integrative workshop that brings together spiritual wisdom and psychological insight to support faithful living amid stress, fear, and uncertainty. Participants will explore practical tools for noticing and responding to anxiety, grounded in God’s enduring promise to be with us in all seasons. Through reflection, guided practices, and shared conversation, the workshop offers ways to cultivate grace, compassion, and hope.
Join us for this free morning event on Saturday, April 18, 9:00 a.m. – noon at White Memorial Presbyterian Church. All are welcome, and please invite a friend! Judy Yates Siker, PhD, Ordained PC(USA) Minister, and Elizabeth P. Sparrow, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, created this event through a series of conversations about the overlaps between religion and mental health. This gathering is sponsored by White Memorial Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church of Raleigh.
