Habitat For Humanity – Sign the Door
July 29 - September 13
Habitat for Humanity has established dates and locations for members of the faith community to volunteer on-site in the construction of homes. White Memorial has the following dates and opportunities available. Of course, most any day, any Saturday can be a volunteer construction day for which you can sign up! But let’s build together!
Here are the dates and locations for fall construction with fellow WMPC volunteers:
September 20 – Old Poole Place, Raleigh
October 18 – Old Poole Place, Raleigh; we are also signed up to provide some lunches
December 13 – A New Neighborhood, Garner; we are also signed up to provide some lunches
We arrive at 8:15 a.m. on location, take water breaks at will, break for lunch, then work until you can (3 p.m.?).

ALSO, a reminder:
The Green Door: I hope you’ve noticed the vibrant green door that’s been placed in our Hub by Habitat for Humanity. It will remain with us until Tuesday, September 13.
We need your help: Please invite young and old (EVERYONE) to take a moment and sign the door. Signers can include their name and a note of inspiration, congratulations, or gratitude for Habitat’s remarkable contributions to Wake County over the past four decades. With your help, this door will be decorated with White Memorial signatures and featured at Habitat’s 40th Anniversary celebration event later this year.
Fun Fact: Members from White Memorial were part of the planning group that brought Habitat to Wake County 40 years ago. Since then, we have been a valuable partner having donated more than $1.1 million; provided leadership on their board and at construction sites; and contributed countless volunteer construction hours.
Please help spread the word. It would be incredible to cover the door with signatures from our church.
