The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a US-based advocacy group originally founded as a grassroots group by family member of people diagnosed with mental illness.

NAMI of Wake County is an organization of local families, friends, and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. Together, we advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness. NAMI Wake hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including self-care programs, monthly educational events, and community partnership events.
