Katrina joined the WMPC staff as Associate Director of Music in June of 2026. She is an organist, pianist, singer, handbell ringer, bass guitarist, and aspiring arranger/composer. Her role at WMPC includes leading congregational singing on organ and piano, accompanying and conducting choirs, directing the handbell choir, and collaborating with other staff members to plan worship services. She is passionate about diverse musical styles, multigenerational worship, and community built through making music.
Katrina received her Master of Music in Organ Performance from the Yale School of Music and Yale Institute of Sacred Music. During her time at Yale, she served as Organist/Assistant Conductor at Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien, Connecticut. Katrina also holds a Bachelor Arts in Church Music from Concordia University Irvine in Orange County, California, where she originally grew up. At that time, she worked for several years at Trinity United Presbyterian Church Santa Ana as Sanctuary Band Director/Worship Associate. Katrina is a member of the American Guild of Organists and plans to become involved with the Presbyterian Association of Musicians.
