Join Friends of Oberlin Village for an Oberlin Cemetery cleanup on Saturday, July 11 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the site, which is located at 1014 Oberlin Road (behind InterAct). We will be giving the historic African American cemetery some extra attention to prepare it for a forensic scan to identify any unmarked graves. Find more about this event.

Nepal Earthquake Response - The death toll from the massive earthquake in Nepal continues to rise. The 7.8 quake struck just west of the capital of Kathmandu on April 25, the worst in more than 80 years, along with many serious aftershocks has also caused damage in parts of India and Bangladesh. Sunday Morning Shuttle - Avoid the traffic around the church and ride the shuttle from Carolina Place on Sundays. Shuttle service begins at 8:45 a.m. and continues until the 11:00 a.m. worship service concludes and everyone is back to their cars. Hayes Barton United Methodist now operates a shuttle from the same location, so look for the White Memorial sign in the shuttle bus window.
