Middle School Mission Trip to Charleston

August 2-7, 2026
Completed 5th – 8th grade
Cost: $400; deposit: $150
Charleston SC

We are planning a week-long middle school mission trip to Charleston summer of 2026 – and we need your help to make it happen!

This urban outreach trip is an amazing service opportunity for middle schoolers! We will partner with Charleston Youth Mission, staying in the Atlantic Charleston area. Some of our work will be physical in nature, such as cleaning, landscaping, or sorting donations. Other assignments will be more relational in nature, such as leading recreation events for children who are living in subsidized housing neighborhoods or providing hospitality to the clients and guests of some local homeless ministries. This will be the third time WMPC middle school youth have partnered with Charleston Youth Mission and we are so excited to travel back down south for this amazing week.

We are actively recruiting chaperones. If you’re able to join us for this incredible trip, please contact Paige Hokunson (phokunson@whitememorial.org).

Chaperone commitments are needed by November 1, and we’ll share trip status update by November 15.
